Ripleys’ re-released an archive of cartoons they created. To draw attention to them and to encourage signups to their email list, they wanted to place interactive kiosks throughout their museums that would allow users to send themselves or their friends and family a cartoon e-postcard. They could search through the cartoons by date. Ripleys’ encouraged users to find out which cartoon was released on their birthday to further personalize the experience.
